Aerodynamic AI Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an Aerodynamic AI Engineer to join the team to leverage data and artificial intelligence to enhance aerodynamic development, performance analysis, and operational efficiency within the Aerodynamics department.

In Short

• Develop and deploy AI models for analysis of CFD simulation data.
• Build advanced surrogate models for aerodynamic predictions.
• Develop AI-driven mesh generation algorithms.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of wind tunnel data.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment.
• Collaborate with aerodynamicists and CFD engineers.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies.
• Ensure understanding of cost cap requirements.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in developing AI/machine learning models.
• Strong proficiency in Python with PyTorch.
• Understanding of computational geometry principles.
• Experience with statistical analysis and anomaly detection.
• Strong software engineering practices including CI/CD.
• Knowledge of fluid dynamics concepts is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in motorsport or aerospace aerodynamics is beneficial.
