Overview

This position represents Gerber Life through providing exceptional service to existing customers and engaging in consultative conversations using the Gerber Life Insurance sales process. Processes transactions and ensures customers' needs are met via inbound and outbound calls.

In Short

  • Responds to customer inquiries via inbound and outbound service and sales telephone interactions.
  • Engages in consultative conversations to review customer’s current insurance needs.
  • Handles inquiries in a positive and professional manner.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • Requires an active Life Accident & Health Insurance License.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years Customer Service experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed.
  • Proven ability to multitask and provide customer service.
  • Must obtain Life and Health Insurance License in home state upon hire.

Requirements

  • Active Life, Accident and Health Insurance license.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years Customer Service experience.
  • Demonstrated contact center experience preferred.
  • Strong business English communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Bilingual competency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong service acumen and sales focus.
  • Excellent PC and data entry skills.
