Overview

As a Staff Engineer in Quality Assurance Engineering at Western Digital, you will work closely with wafer and backend teams to manage excursions and enhance quality assurance processes while promoting a quality culture across teams.

• Handle excursions through FA, containment, risk assessment, and disposition.
• Develop a QA Connect Page for documentation and KPIs.
• Unify various quality practices and issue tracking systems.
• Drive corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of issues.

• Facilitate process FMEAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years or Master’s degree with 2 years in wafer fab engineering.
• Strong knowledge of integrated process flow from wafer start to finish.
• Project leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Programming skills including dashboard, machine learning, and webpage creation.
