Russian Localization QA Tester (Part-Time, Remote)

Overview

Welocalize is seeking a Localization QA Tester / Proofreader with native-level fluency in Russian and strong technical skills to test applications and tools, identify localization issues, and report them.

In Short

• Part-time position with a fixed-term contract for one year.
• 20 hours per week with shifts of 4 hours per day.
• Test web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS.
• Execute test cases and scripts for localization accuracy.
• Identify, report, and track localization bugs.
• Verify fixes and ensure quality.
• Prioritize linguistic issues effectively.
• Document and communicate issue reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Russian.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in translation, localization, or linguistic QA.
• Strong technical skills and troubleshooting ability.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Must be legally based in Germany.
