Turkish Music Localization Specialist - Remote

Overview

Welocalize is seeking passionate and culturally fluent Turkish (Turkey) linguists with deep knowledge of contemporary music and exceptional writing skills to join our Music localization team. You’ll help shape compelling in-app content and user experiences that resonate with Turkish-speaking audiences across genres and formats.

In Short

• Translate and post-edit music-related content with precision and creativity.
• Adapt tone, style, and structure to reflect the Turkish music scene, culture, and idiomatic usage.
• Collaborate with the assessment team to complete brief testing in our platform.
• Maintain brand consistency and linguistic accuracy across UI and promotional assets.
• Provide feedback or suggestions for improving content relevance and impact.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in music, media, or creative localization.
• Strong familiarity with current music trends and cultural context.
• Excellent command of Turkish (Turkey) and deep cultural fluency.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or journalism preferred.
• Published work on music platforms is a bonus.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with UI/UX copy, music metadata, or artist bios.
• Comfortable using CAT tools and adapting content to multiple platforms.
• A flair for adapting voice and style to Gen Z or pop culture audiences is a bonus.
