Overview

The Bengali Reviewer will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the quality of Bengali translations, providing feedback to translators, and managing linguistic assets.

• Perform review and quality assurance of Bengali translations.
• Conduct copy-editing and linguistic checks for accuracy and consistency.
• Provide feedback to translators to enhance translation quality.
• Manage and maintain language assets like glossaries and style guides.
• Respond to linguistic queries from translators and project managers.
• Facilitate collaboration within the translation team.
• Support onboarding and training of new linguists.
• Participate in developing review and quality processes.
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity KPIs.
• Achieve goals set by the Squad Lead / Language Lead.

Requirements

• University degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in translation or localization.
• Native fluency in Bengali and fluency in English.
• Understanding of localization processes and review workflows.
• Proficiency in standard software and CAT tools.
• Ability to adapt to new localization tools quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and editing skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• A positive approach to client communication.
