Bengali Language Lead - Remote

Overview

The Bengali Language Lead is responsible for acting as a backup to the main Language Lead, ensuring quality assurance and linguistic review of content while maintaining communication with clients and linguists.

• Act as a Language Lead Backup for Bengali linguists.
• Perform full linguistic review and quality assurance tasks.
• Maintain overall quality under a 97% fail rate.
• Analyze deliverables and provide feedback for improvement.
• Support linguists and clients in the review process.
• Conduct training sessions with linguists.
• Organize regular calls with reviewers and linguists.
• Identify and evaluate potential new candidates.
• Work within European (CET) business hours.
• Collaborate with the Welocalize Language Services team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in translation and review.
• Proficient in legal and marketing content.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Native fluency in Bengali.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively.
• Experience with machine translation post-editing.
• Experience in a multi-vendor scenario is a plus.
