Overview

The Pharmacy Technician plays a critical role in supporting pharmacy teams to deliver operational and service excellence, ensuring prescriptions are filled accurately and providing exceptional customer service.

In Short

  • Support pharmacy team in delivering excellent service.
  • Assist in prescription fulfillment and patient care.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Complete inventory activities as directed.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Engage with patients to provide caring service.
  • Complete training and comply with pharmacy regulations.
  • Monitor and manage vaccine supplies.
  • Work flexible hours as needed by the business.
  • Participate in additional health care services as permitted.

Requirements

  • Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to attend to customer needs in a friendly manner.
  • Strong communication and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to lift and move items as required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Experience in a pharmacy or customer service setting preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to different store locations.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
