Medical Scribe - Remote

Overview

The purpose of a Medical Scribe at Oak Street Health is to support our primary care providers with clinical documentation so that they can focus on providing exceptional care to our patients. Scribes assist providers throughout the patient care journey, becoming experts in clinical workflows and documentation.

In Short

• Support primary care providers with clinical documentation.
• Join providers in the exam room to observe and document patient encounters.
• Assist with planning daily visits and follow-up steps.
• Receive extensive on-the-job training in clinical workflows and value-based medicine.
• Help identify and close care gaps using clinical expertise.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and common medications is preferred.
• Prior clinical experience and scribe experience are preferred.
• Full-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 40.
• Salary ranges from $17.00 to $28.46 per hour.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and medications.
• Prior clinical experience or volunteering is strongly preferred.
• Experience in scribing or transcription is preferred but not required.
