Associate Director, Pharmacovigilance - Remote

Overview

The Associate Director, Pharmacovigilance reports to our Senior Director, Pharmacovigilance at Tarsus. This person will work with PV team and cross-functional members to lead and implement robust Drug Safety Surveillance, Signal management, and authoring Aggregate safety reports activities.

In Short

• Lead signal detection and management processes.
• Contribute to pharmacovigilance data analytics projects.
• Conduct medical review of Individual case safety reports (ICSRs).
• Assist preparation and review aggregate safety reports.
• Lead safety strategy for benefit-risk assessments.
• Case monitoring review activities.
• PV Collaboration on SMT meetings.
• Support and Lead development of safety management plans.
• Ensure inspection readiness by aligning PV practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare field.
• 10+ years of significant DSPV experience.
• Experience with safety labeling activities.
• Strong understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations.
• Experience on regulatory agencies inspections.
• Proficient in ICSR and SUSARs case processing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
• Advance experience using excel for data review.
