Lab Automation Consultant - Remote

Overview

This role involves supporting the implementation, operation, qualification, and maintenance of lab automation systems in a dynamic Pharma and Life Science IT service provider.

In Short

• Support lab technicians and scientists with digital lab installations.
• Configure and script instrument connectivity solutions.
• Perform installation qualifications (IQ).
• Maintain software and documentation related to lab automation.
• Requires a background in life sciences or lab technician experience.
• Familiarity with lab automation systems (LIMS, ELN, LES) is essential.

• Proficiency in PL/SQL, Pipeline Pilot, and .NET is required.
• Fluency in English and either German or French is mandatory.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• Lab technician apprenticeship or a degree in Biology, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, or related fields.
• Experience in lab automation and configuration.
• Several years of practical experience in industry or academia.
• Knowledge of regulatory pharma environments (GXP, GMP, GLP) is a plus.
• Agile work experience in business and IT projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to illustrate technical work to non-IT specialists.
• Adaptability to research or QC environments.
