Full-Time MERN Stack Developer - Remote

Overview

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients, focusing on the development of MERN stack applications while ensuring high-quality solutions.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain MERN applications.
• Build reusable UI components using React.js.
• Develop secure and optimized backend services.
• Manage database schemas and queries in MongoDB.
• Integrate and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Implement authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure web security and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Write clean and maintainable code following best practices.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Redux/Context API and React Router.
• Hands-on experience with Mongoose ORM.
• Understanding of REST and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience deploying on AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with caching/messaging technologies.
• Understanding of web security standards.
