Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help produce the best-in-class digital experiences for our clients at Webstacks, a high performance website operations and growth marketing agency.

• Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina (Remote)
• Type of Work: Full-time Contractor, available to work up to 40 hours per week
• Working Hours: PST (Pacific Standard Time)
• Years of experience: 2-4 Years
• Work with product designers and stakeholders to create user-friendly experiences
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and component libraries
• Write high-quality, clean, efficient code
• Integrate and manage content through various CMS
• Communicate technical feasibility to clients and team members
• Balance short-term workarounds with future extensions

Requirements

• Highly experienced using JS Frameworks (React, Typescript, Gatsby.js, Next.js, etc.)
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Strong understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of Node.js
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT
• Excellent ability to convert Figma/Sketch mockups into interactive experiences
• Implementing various content management systems
• Minimum 1-2 years of WordPress experience (plus)
• Excellence in verbal and written communication
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
