In Short

• Join the team responsible for designing and building the Spring Design System.
• Drive research, ideation, and execution of design components.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to guide implementation.
• Participate in design reviews and help implement the design system.
• Support other product designers in contributing to the design system.
• Ensure a cohesive customer experience from brand to product.
• Contribute to building reusable components and documentation.
• Focus on accessibility standards in design.
• Communicate effectively in presentations and documentation.
• Work in a remote environment with a diverse team.

Requirements

• Skilled in visual design, typography, layout, and iconography.
• Experience with complex interaction design patterns.
• Proficient in Figma and design system best practices.
• Experience in designing and extending design systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Familiarity with accessibility best practices.
• Bonus: Experience in iconography, illustration, or frontend development.
• Bonus: Knowledge of WCAG and ARIA accessibility topics.
