Core Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Core Network Engineer will be part of the Cellular core implementation team, focusing on network performance analysis, service testing, and optimization.

In Short

• Be a part of Cellular core implementation team.
• Perform service/system testing, data collection, and optimization as required.
• Conduct proactive monitoring of network elements’ KPI/alarms.
• Analyze trouble tickets and provide solutions.
• Create and maintain network system documentation.
• Handle operational tasks and requests.
• Provide on-call 24 x 7 support on a rotating basis.

Requirements

• Familiarity with MNO/MVNO structure and flows for Voice, SMS, and Data.
• Strong understanding of 3GPP standards across 2G/3G/4G and 5G.
• Experience in analyzing network flows using raw data.
• Understanding of roaming processes and procedures.
• Ability to design, scale, and integrate network elements.
• Hands-on experience in integration between network elements.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting roaming interfaces.
• At least 5 years of practical experience as a core engineer.
• Working understanding of APIs and basic scripting.
• Familiarity with automated deployment tools.
• Knowledge of OpenShift and cloud technologies is an advantage.
