Software Engineer, Frontend - Remote

Overview

This role supports New York City, NY-based remote work. We’re looking for Software Engineers to join our team. As part of a cross-functional scrum team you will design and develop new products and features to help clients grow their wealth.

In Short

• Collaborate with backend and mobile engineers, designers, and product managers to build new features and enhance existing features
• Join other web engineers to triage and resolve operational issues
• Help with web platform infrastructure projects
• Participate in recruiting activities such as interviewing
• Provide mentorship to other engineers on the team

Requirements

• 2-6 years in a web-focused engineering role
• A deep understanding of JavaScript, including standard ES5+, native DOM APIs, and ideally at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Angular, etc)
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar server-side frameworks is a plus
• Experience working with design to build custom pages and components
• Real passion for working on projects that have a measurable business impact
• Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing
• You have either a BS or MS in computer science or related field.
