Security Researcher - Remote

Overview

As a Security Researcher at Wallarm, you will be part of a global remote-first team dedicated to enhancing the security of API and web applications. Your role will involve improving detection capabilities, analyzing vulnerabilities, and developing new security mechanisms.

• Improve detection capabilities of Wallarm products
• Analyze and research new vulnerabilities and attack techniques
• Develop new detection mechanisms, rules, and filters
• Evaluate the product’s security posture
• Research new methods for identifying API threats
• Generate ideas for product improvement
• Triage security events and investigate incidents
• Support team infrastructure and processes

Requirements

• Solid understanding of web protocols (TCP, HTTP, TLS)
• Experience in web application security assessment
• Knowledge of web application attack types (CWE, OWASP Top 10)
• Experience with Linux, Docker, and GIT
• Proficient in a programming language (e.g., Python/Ruby)
• Analytical mindset
• Proficient in English
