Overview

Voyager is a small, high-velocity team investing in the foundational industries of the future. We’re looking for an Investor based in Germany to lead and manage our investment work in Europe and support our global portfolio of climate technology companies. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, entrepreneurial, and excited to shape a better future through early-stage technology investment.

In Short

• Location: Germany. Preference for Munich. Travel across Europe is expected, with occasional travel to North America
• Languages: Fluent German; fluent English
• Lead the full lifecycle of investment work, from sourcing to diligence to close
• Support and accelerate the success of portfolio companies post-investment
• Develop investment theses on energy, deep tech, and climate tech
• Represent Voyager publicly at events and in the media
• Conduct and lead technical diligence on emerging climate technologies
• Work closely with portfolio companies to support growth and fundraising
• Help build Voyager’s visibility in Europe’s climate tech ecosystem
• Build a personal network in climate and deep tech

Requirements

• Experience in investment processes including sourcing, screening, diligence, and closing
• Strong analytical skills and ability to support portfolio companies
• Fluency in German and English
• Experience in climate technology or related fields
• Ability to conduct market research and identify emerging trends
• Strong communication and networking skills
• Experience in board representation or observation is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Willingness to travel across Europe and occasionally to North America
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for technology
