In Short

• Participate in a paid project to build bilingual language data sets.
• Translate sentences from Hokkien to English and vice versa.
• Transcribe audio content into Hokkien.
• Record yourself reading sentences in English and Hokkien.
• Assess and improve the quality of transcribed/translated sentences.
• Work online remotely.
• Must have a computer/laptop and reliable Internet access.
• Be available for at least 15 hours per week over 3-4 months.
• Compensation is based on speed and quality of translation.
• No need to be a professional translator, but must have language proficiency.

Requirements

• Proficiency in translating written English sentences into Hokkien.
• Excellent attention to detail and grasp of spelling and grammar in Hokkien.
• Availability to work at least 15 hours per week for 3-4 months.
• Must have a computer/laptop and reliable Internet.
• Must have a local bank account for international payments.
• Must provide identification (passport, etc.).
• All candidates will be tested to meet requirements.
• Successful candidates will sign a contract and undergo training.
