GIS Analyst - Remote

Overview

VoxCroft is a global fully remote team of technical and intelligence experts who provide societal intelligence in frontier countries. We are looking for a talented mid-level GIS Analyst to enhance our geospatial analysis and storytelling.

In Short

• Part-time role, 20 hours a week.
• Creation of maps for intelligence reports and digital products.
• Analyze spatial data from various sources, including social media.
• Work closely with intelligence analysts, data scientists, and designers.
• Ensure the integrity of GIS data through quality assurance practices.
• Prepare and present findings in meetings or reports.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in GIS analysis.
• Proficiency in GIS software and knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
