UI/UX Designer Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative UI/UX Designer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team on a critical Department of Defense (DoD) project. You will lead the design of user-centric interfaces that meet the highest standards of usability, accessibility, and security required by the DoD.

In Short

• Oversee the design of user interfaces and user experiences for complex DoD applications.
• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.

Requirements

• Active DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design or related field.
• 8+ years in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years in a senior or SME role.
• Strong proficiency in UI/UX design tools.
• Experience with user research methodologies.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies.
• Understanding of design systems and component-based design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
