Localization Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Vimeo, the world’s leading all-in-one video software solution, is seeking an experienced Localization Project Manager to join our Localization Team as a contractor. In this role, you will work closely with the Localization Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure we deliver the best localized product and user experience to our global users. The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated team player who is biased toward action and well-versed in product localization, internationalization, and product testing.

In Short

• Manage the day-to-day localization of Vimeo’s products across all supported languages.
• Collaborate with localization vendors’ PMs on projects.
• Manage product testing for localized product launches/updates.
• Oversee linguistic QA cycles and implement corrective actions.
• Continuously manage and optimize linguistic assets.
• Champion localization and internationalization best practices.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders across teams.
• Proactively identify and communicate critical issues.
• Work on internal team projects as needed.
• Build connections and collaborate with peers across teams.

Requirements

• Interest in pursuing a career in localization.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in localization project management.
• 3 to 4 years of product and engineering stakeholder management experience.
• Self-starter with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Experience using Asana, Jira, and TMS.
• Knowledge of localization and internationalization best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Fluency in a language other than English.
