Senior Finance Analyst - Cost Management - Remote

Overview

VikingCloud is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our FP&A team as the financial owner for all vendor-related costs across the company. This high-visibility role offers significant exposure to senior leadership across Finance, Operations, and Product, and is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can build cost models, challenge spend with business partners, and turn data into actionable recommendations.

In Short

• Lead vendor-level reporting and contribution margin analysis.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting on trends and variances.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on vendor spend.
• Support contract renewals and vendor selection with scenario modeling.
• Track and report savings realization against committed targets.
• Build strong relationships with Accounting, IT, and business unit leaders.
• Identify and implement process improvements in vendor cost reporting.
• Support month-end close activities including accruals and variance commentary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and operating expenses.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with ERP and financial planning systems (e.g., Sage, SAP).
• Ability to translate large data sets into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to influence across functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
