Solution Architect - Remote

Overview

VetsEZ is seeking a remote Solution Architect to join our team. This role is responsible for the design, planning, execution, maintenance, and enhancement of a series of products. As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders (e.g. product owners, application owners, designers, developers, business analysts, project managers, etc.) to create and modernize solutions that are aligned to the architecture principles, preferred technologies, and overall business strategy. During implementations, you will provide hands-on guidance to the development team along with facilitating and advising on solution design, ensuring that best practices are followed for configuration and development.

• Provide technical leadership for products to guide their maintenance and modernization.
• Integrate with new and legacy technologies to improve product capabilities and performance.
• Design and manage the architecture of servers, storage, networks, and cloud services to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Provide technical assistance, guidance, and advice on high impact incidents and problems.
• Maintain and facilitate the process for Infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Create architectural diagrams and other technical documentation.
• Evaluate how updates and new systems will interact with existing solutions.
• Be hands-on to help create and maintain configuration and code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership to drive the solutioning process.
• Creative and out-of-the-box thinking with broad knowledge across multiple technical domains.
• Understanding of enterprise IT operations and experience with technical decision-making processes.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
• Provide innovative solutions to technical challenges.
• Proficient experience with Cloud technologies (AWS & Azure), DevOps, Agile Development, APIs, Data Management.
