Overview

Vertex Advisory Services is seeking an experienced consultant specializing in government contracts to assist in the professional completion and submission of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for SAP As-Needed Consulting Services with the City of San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government procurement, contract compliance, and RFP preparation, specifically for municipal contracts within San Diego, CA.

In Short

• Review, analyze, and complete the City of San Diego RFP documentation for SAP As-Needed Consulting Services.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal procurement regulations.
• Develop a comprehensive and competitive proposal tailored to the City’s requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and ensure all submission requirements are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience in writing and submitting winning RFPs for government contracts, preferably with the City of San Diego or similar municipalities.
• Deep understanding of government procurement policies and contract compliance.
• Experience working on SAP-related contracts is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with PlanetBids and electronic submission requirements.
• Excellent technical writing and document preparation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Preferred: Legal or procurement background with expertise in public sector contracts.
