Sustainable Development and Environmental Impact Quantification Officer - Remote

Overview

The Sustainable Development and Environmental Impact Quantification Officer will be responsible for configuring internal tools, participating in discussions on carbon footprint methodologies, and implementing decarbonization strategies within the company.

In Short

• 6-month fixed-term contract position.
• Configure internal tools developed under LCA for Expert (GaBi) software.
• Engage in discussions on carbon footprint methodology at the European level.
• Raise awareness and train suppliers on carbon footprint methodologies.
• Collect, verify, and summarize primary data from suppliers.
• Conduct literature reviews on environmental footprints of Li-ion batteries.
• Implement Verkor’s decarbonization strategy by engaging relevant teams.

• Attention to detail and rigorous approach to tasks.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Materials, Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering.
• Experience with life cycle analysis/eco-conception.
• First experience using LCA for Expert software (GaBi) is recommended.
• Motivated by environmental and social stakes, especially low-carbon mobility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Autonomous and collaborative in work style.
• Rigorous with attention to detail.
• Eager to learn in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English and French is necessary.
