In Short

  • Manage and contribute to shared tool kit repository and develop tailored geospatial data analysis algorithms.
  • Apply and develop solutions for remote sensing based environmental monitoring and analysis.
  • Support the implementation of projects by applying statistical modeling and data visualization tools.
  • Leverage geospatial databases for efficient data storage and analysis.

Requirements

  • MSc in Geoinformatics, Geography, Environmental Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in geospatial analysis, remote sensing, GIS application development, or programming.
  • Proficient in Python and R.
  • Skilled with Docker, Git/GitLab, QGIS, Google Earth Engine.
  • Strong grasp of spatial data models and remote sensing platforms.
  • Experience visualizing data via maps and technical documentation.
  • Comfortable in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
