Accountant I (Hybrid) - Remote

Overview

The Accountant I position performs routine accounting tasks and supports the Purchase to Pay (P2P) team as needed. This role will support the businesses of Vericast.

In Short

• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations.
• Review and analyze weekly spend files.
• Prepare documentation for journal entries.
• Maintain key department files.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Demonstrate commitment to process improvements.
• Communicate effectively with senior staff and auditors.
• Offer recommendations for decision making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required).
• 0 - 2 years Accounting Experience (Required).
• Average Excel skills (Required).
• SAP, Oracle or robust ERP systems skills are a plus.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
