• Build and maintain the API control plane for Vercel.
• Operate as “Customer 0” using Vercel to build Vercel.
• Own codebase health and developer experience.
• Deploy and operate Node.js microservices in production.
• Deploy to managed Kubernetes clusters.
• Optimize CI/CD systems for better developer velocity.

Requirements

• Experience with Node.js and microservices.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD systems.
• Understanding of JavaScript and the npm ecosystem (bonus).
• Strong opinions on software engineering practices (bonus).
