Overview

Veolia, a global leader in environmental services, is seeking a General Accountant Expert for a 9-month contract to support financial operations during a project involving Workday migration.

In Short

• Collaborate with project teams for Workday transition.
• Prepare and transmit accounting elements as needed.
• Participate in co-projects and workshops.
• Prepare elements for data migration.
• Clean up accounts in preparation for migration.
• Conduct tests on Workday.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and processes.
• Supervise all accounting subjects specific to the entity.
• Coordinate fiscal rules and apply French accounting standards.
• Support the financial closing tasks and daily accounting operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management (Bac+2 to Bac+5).
• 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-company environment.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and IFRS.
• Proficiency in Workday and Google tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze financial data and produce clear reports.
