Know Your Meme is looking for a creative and passionate social media contractor to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that increase our brand awareness, followings, engagement and traffic across various platforms such as Facebook, Reddit, Twitter and Instagram.

In Short

• Create and curate engaging content that showcases our meme expertise
• Promote and distribute our existing content on social channels
• Monitor and analyze social media metrics and trends to optimize performance and identify new opportunities
• Interact with our online community and respond to comments, questions and feedback, as well as posting resources to our content for inquiries related to internet culture
• Collaborate with editorial department to ensure alignment of goals and messaging
• Research and stay updated on the latest meme news, trends and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
• 2+ years of experience in social media management or similar role
• Proficient in using social media tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate about memes and internet culture
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Canva
