Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - DevOps and Observability - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Velotio Technologies, you will play a crucial role in converting business SLAs/SLOs into technical implementations while leading a data-driven FinOps initiative to optimize costs.

In Short

• Convert business SLAs/SLOs into technical implementations.
• Own full stack across APM, Logs, Metrics, RUM, Synthetics, Service Catalog.
• Enforce best practices for PII hygiene, redaction, and SLOs.
• Design robust monitors and generate reports on MTTD/MTTR.
• Implement everything as code using Terraform, APIs, and CI/CD.
• Lead a structured FinOps initiative to reduce Datadog spend.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and lead workshops.
• Work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years in SRE, DevOps, or Observability roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Datadog.
• Proven client-facing experience in leading workshops.
• Strong knowledge of Datadog pipelines and cost controls.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Datadog APIs.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with incident management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
