GL Accountant EMEA - Remote

Overview

The GL Accountant will be a key member of the EMEA finance team, involved in all aspects of accounting activities, contributing to financial excellence and compliance with accounting standards.

In Short

• Participate actively in the monthly and quarterly close processes for multiple EMEA entities
• Be involved in day-to-day accounting activities
• Ensure compliance with SOX policies
• Cooperate with external accounting service providers and auditors in several countries
• Actively participate in process improvements and projects
• Involved in training and education of junior team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3+ years of post-qualification experience, with a strong focus on GL
• Familiarity with US GAAP, FRS 102 is essential
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Detail-oriented yet able to reflect on and understand the big picture
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment with strong multi-tasking skills
