The Fund Accountant is responsible for executing core fund accounting workflows accurately and consistently across a defined set of venture funds, ideal for someone who values precision, structure, and ownership.

• Execute day-to-day fund accounting tasks including transaction booking and allocations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records across assigned funds.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting processes.
• Assist with audit and tax preparation through clean, well-organized workpapers.
• Follow documented processes and controls consistently.
• Surface questions or discrepancies promptly to senior team members.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in fund accounting, accounting, or fund administration.
• Familiarity with venture capital or private equity fund structures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple funds.
• Clear written communication and reliable follow-through.
• Interest in improving accounting workflows through better systems, data, or automation.
• Prior experience supporting audits or year-end close processes (nice to have).
