Overview

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Security Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will ensure security parameters controls that were identified by the Customer are augmented by policies and procedures.

In Short

• Prepare security documentation for multiple systems.
• Ensure proper use of remote access connectivity.
• Coordinate security countermeasures to protect information assets.
• Ensure VPN tunnels are established based on requirements.
• Protect data according to Customer and DoD policies.
• Provide audit logs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct annual IT Security Awareness training.
• Work with Federal Solutions team to support US government customers.
• Maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver critical infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Active Top-secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an SCI.
• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with the accreditation process.
• Knowledge of NIST requirements.
• Experience with security documentation and policies.
• Understanding of data protection and incident response.
• Ability to work with government clients.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
