Parsons is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team for various electrical systems installation projects in Virginia. This role is essential for the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring safety and functionality.

In Short

• Install and maintain major electrical systems and infrastructure.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Manage and mentor apprentice electricians.
• Diagnose and resolve functionality and safety issues.
• Inspect and test various electrical systems.
• Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and clients.
• Document repairs and modifications effectively.
• Ensure compliance with National Electric Code and local building codes.
• Perform physical tasks related to electrical installations.
• Utilize modern management applications for team communication.

Requirements

• Licensed Electrician with applicable state license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a journey-level training and apprenticeship program.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Prior experience as an electrician journeyman.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
