Overview

Parsons is seeking a talented Engineer / Software Developer to join our Defensive Threat Systems Modeling and Simulation (M&S) team supporting the warfighter and prominent acquisition and intelligence programs within the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC).

• Modeling and simulation of defensive weapon systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience or equivalent advanced degree experience.
• Competency in C++, Python, MATLAB, Simulink.
• Subject-matter expertise in missile dynamics and guidance algorithms.
• Ability to contribute to strategic planning.
• Experience with threat weapon system modeling.
• Experience in a DevOps or DevSecOps environment.
• AGILE software development team experience.
• Mentoring experience is a plus.
• Understanding of distributed processing environments.
