In Short

• Consumer Complaints Oversight: Review regulatory complaints and complaint responses.
• Consumer Complaints Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and analyze complaints to understand trends.
• Issue Management: Input and track compliance findings within Archer.
• Compliance Advisory: Provide insights into process improvements.
• Collaborate with the first line complaints team to enhance the review process.
• Review marketing communications for compliance with regulations.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business.
• Manage the regulatory exam process and compliance policies.

Requirements

• Strong background in risk management and applicable regulations.
• 2+ years of experience in bank regulatory programs.
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to build effective partnerships with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
• A passion for Varo’s mission.
• Ability to problem-solve and assess risk effectively.
• Experience with Google Suite, Excel, Jira, and Confluence (preferred).
• Previous work in a FinTech or innovative financial institution (preferred).
