Overview

As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Valtech, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on cloud infrastructures and digital transformation projects, focusing on AWS and modern development practices.

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructures in AWS.
• Set up logging, monitoring, and security.
• Support teams with pipelines and application deployment.
• Coach junior engineers to improve their skills.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call duty rotation.
• Communicate transparently about project tasks.
• Create and maintain documentation.
• Implement automation where appropriate.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a cloud engineer in AWS.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Knowledge of AWS serverless services.
• Familiarity with monitoring systems (e.g., Datadog, AWS CloudWatch).
• Experience with pipelining tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of microservices and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of cloud architecture and system thinking.
• Experience in a DevOps context.
• Excellent command of English (C1 or above).
