Overview

As a Booth Engineer at Cinemark, you will be responsible for maintaining presentation standards and ensuring maximum equipment uptime in theaters.

In Short

  • Maintain Cinemark presentation standards
  • Resolve equipment issues and perform maintenance
  • Collaborate with TOP Center and TTA for training
  • Ensure equipment operates to Cinemark standards
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Respond to emergency service tickets
  • Install equipment for new theater openings
  • Communicate professionally with theaters and supervisors
  • Order parts to maintain compliance
  • Participate in special projects and events

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience in theatre projection and sound
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Barco certification in digital cinema is a plus
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in tight spaces
  • Willingness to travel and work off-hours
