Upwork is looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to join our Flutter Platform Team, where we are at the forefront of revolutionizing mobile app development.

In Short

• Team management - lead and mentor team members;
• Project management - Communicate with product and engineering leads;

Requirements

• Solid commercial software development experience (7+ years);
• Team leadership experience (2+ years);
• 2 years of experience developing and delivering Flutter based apps;
• 2 to 5 years of experience developing mobile apps natively in iOS and/or Android;
• Experience of working in distributed global software development teams;
• Good understanding of state management, Flutter flavors, and app architecture;
• Self-directed and challenge-driven;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Strong command of English;
• Availability for meetings at 7-11 am PT.
