Frontend Software Engineer - Remote

We contribute to the business success of our corporate clients by launching a series of APIs that allow the world's top AI models to be easily utilized across various fields. We also provide Private LLM services that optimize LLM technology for business environments, enhancing efficiency and productivity.

In Short

• Develop frontend for Upstage's on-premise and SaaS products.
• Create applications utilizing Upstage products and AI models.
• Improve documentation and document management systems for Upstage products.
• Develop internal tools and enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in various activities related to Upstage's product and technology development.
• Work in a fully remote environment.
• Choose remote work equipment with a budget of 5 million KRW.
• Receive support for cafe usage, study rooms, or co-working spaces.
• Get funding for software, books, materials, and education.
• Receive health-related support including exercise costs and health check-ups.

Requirements

• High-level understanding of one or more programming languages (especially Typescript).
• Experience in SPA web frontend development (React-based) and REST API integration.
• Experience in developing design systems (e.g., Storybook) or scalable common UI components.
• Frontend development experience using React or Next.js.
• Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Github, Jira) for code reviews and issue management.
• Proactive problem identification and resolution experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Benefits

• 3+ years of experience in developing and operating web services is preferred.
• Experience in developing and operating Next.js based SSR/SSG services is preferred.
• Experience in web performance optimization (using Lighthouse, etc.) is preferred.
• Understanding of public or private cloud computing solutions (e.g., AWS, GCP) is preferred.
