Research Technician - Remote

Overview

The Research Technician serves as a member of a close-knit research team conducting cutting-edge multi-site clinical trials investigating the efficacy of pharmacotherapies for the treatment of psychostimulant and/or opioid addiction.

In Short

• Conduct multi-site clinical trials
• Oversee and perform research clinic activities
• Recruit and assess subject eligibility
• Collect and process study data
• Perform urine collection and testing activities
• Conduct informed consent process
• Maintain accurate data records
• Coordinate with research participants and team members
• Attend weekly team meetings
• Assist with problem-solving during the study

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED with 2 years of research experience
• Certified Research Specialist (CRS) within 2 years of hire
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Experience with electronic data capture systems
• Ability to work with high-risk research participants
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow Good Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Preferred: Phlebotomy experience or willingness to learn
