Overview

The Physician is a skilled health care provider who has successfully completed an organized program of education that provides specialized certification, focused on improving patient care and the lives of Arkansans.

In Short

• Provide direct clinical services for patients in outpatient or inpatient settings.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests.
• Formulate and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses.

Requirements

• M.D. or equivalent required.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine or eligibility for licensure in Arkansas.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
• Experience in patient care settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based medical practices.
• Ability to document and maintain accurate medical records.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.
• Compliance with pre-employment screening requirements.
