Overview

The Maintenance Repair Technician is responsible for the preventive maintenance of life safety systems and other critical equipment for the Medical, Educational, and Research facilities on the UAMS Campus, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, students, and employees.

  • Requires a High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of general maintenance experience.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Preferred experience includes 3 years in a healthcare setting.
  • Computer proficiency at beginner to intermediate level.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • 1 year of general maintenance experience.
