Maintenance Technician - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Technician will perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment/systems in assigned facilities, assisting mechanics and performing defined tasks independently.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment/systems.
• Assist mechanics in maintenance and repair efforts.
• Conduct inspections and repairs on property interior and exterior.
• Clean HVAC coils and maintain plumbing components.
• Complete documentation for fire extinguishers and building systems.
• Prepare, prime, and paint building surfaces.
• Prioritize PM’s and work orders for the site.
• Utilize CMMS system for work order updates.
• Escalate problems to management as needed.
• Perform general handyman tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Proficient in MS Office and CMMS software.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• EPA Universal License preferred.
• BAS experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
