Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Remote

Overview

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will extend patient care and administrative services for the UAMS Women and Infants Service Line (WISL) physicians in outpatient settings, providing comprehensive health assessments and managing health issues for patients.

In Short

• Provide comprehensive health assessments and implement treatment plans.
• Manage health issues independently or in collaboration with physicians.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care for patients.
• Facilitate group prenatal care and education.
• Engage in clinical research activities.
• Maintain documentation according to policy.
• Provide health education and promote wellness.
• Work autonomously and consult as needed.
• Perform job duties in accordance with UAMS policies.
• Comply with CDC Universal Precautions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas; APRN.
• National Certification recognized by the state of AR.
• Current BLS certification.
• Advanced clinical knowledge in women's health.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Interest in clinical research.
• Normal communication sensory requirements.
