Overview

UTA seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to build scalable, high-performance services that power the agency’s next-generation financial platform. This platform includes applications for deal execution, invoicing, payment distribution, and financial reporting.

In Short

Design and implement services for revenue workflows and payment logic.
Build robust APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
Own integration with internal and external systems.
Develop full stack features using modern front-end frameworks.
Implement structured financial logic for payments and billing.
Build and deploy infrastructure in AWS.
Ensure systems are fault-tolerant and scalable.
Translate complex business rules into backend logic.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders.
Drive quality and performance in compliance-sensitive areas.

Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience.
Deep experience with Node.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
Hands-on expertise with AWS services.
Familiarity with event-driven systems and API integrations.
Strong understanding of data modeling and transaction workflows.
Experience with financial systems and complex domain logic.
Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
Experience with serverless architecture.
Understanding of invoicing workflows and tax handling.
