Overview

Tygart Technology is seeking a highly motivated Test Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our team supporting a DOJ component. The successful candidate will contribute to system testing and evaluation efforts for complex software and hardware systems. This role is fully remote and requires a current Secret Security clearance.

In Short

Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies.
Designs, implements, and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.
Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products.
Serves as a subject matter specialist providing testing knowledge for complex software/hardware applications.
Directs and participates in risk management assessments and software/hardware development.
Designs, plans, creates, executes, and provides SOS test reports.
Reviews government test plans and test reports for technical competence and compliance.
Observes and evaluates customer acceptance test activities.
Performs integration activities involving developed application software.
Identifies and documents problems and issues, providing guidance on root-cause and remediation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of work experience.
Active Tier 3 Secret clearance.
Experience with SAFe Agile or Agile methodology.
A minimum of 3 years of experience with test automation.
A minimum of 3 years of experience with test scripting.
Demonstrated experience with ReadyAPI.
Demonstrated experience with Groovy scripting.
Experience with Java and JavaScript for troubleshooting.
Experience with Git/GitHub execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
