Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will manage, implement and support the Azure Cloud Infrastructure. This role involves implementing efficient engineering and operational processes, as well as establishing best practices to continuously enhance operational efficiency within and across teams. Excellent working knowledge and experience on Azure Cloud Infrastructure, including Infrastructure as a Code and DevOps.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Networking, Storage, Firewall, Compute, Function, Backup, and Azure DevOps.
• Automating routine tasks using Ansible, Python, Terraform, and Azure CLI for enhanced efficiency.
• Minimum 4 years of specialized experience in a DevOps engineer role with full automation using Ansible.
• Minimum 2 years of Azure Infrastructure automation with Terraform.
• Experience working with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, etc.
• Strong familiarity with version-control systems, such as GitLab.
• Configuration-level knowledge for Linux sysadmin with RHEL.
• Ability to implement security measures for Azure-based applications and infrastructure.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in automation tools.
• Threat protection and improving the security posture of Azure infrastructure.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and at least three years of experience in an automation-engineering role.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to cloud and network infrastructure.
